Household chores, for real weeks
Tidy Tempo knows when every chore is due, and you choose the day. The bathroom gets done sometime this week. The bedding, sometime around the end of the month. The bins go out every Wednesday. Nothing gets forgotten, and nothing nags you early.
The problem
Bathroom on Saturday. Then Saturday fills up with a birthday party, the chore turns red, and it stays red until you stop opening the app. Most chores don’t need a day. The bathroom needs cleaning sometime this week, and any day will do.
Busy Saturday. Overdue on Sunday, and every day after.
Done on Thursday, when you had half an hour. It counts.
How it works
Each chore uses one of these. When you add a chore, Tidy Tempo suggests the right one, and you can change it later.

Rolling
Wash the bedding about a month after the last wash, give or take a week. Late one month? The next one counts from when you did it.
Washed on 20 Sep, 3 days late. The next one counts from then.
Set day
Put the bins out every Wednesday, or service the boiler on the first Saturday of the month. For the things that really do have a day.
One missed bin day is just missed. No catch-up, no guilt.
Freshness
Every chore slowly drains between cleans and fills up when it’s done. Together they make one number for the whole home. Plan a chore for Thursday and Sunday’s forecast goes up. Push one back and you see what that costs.
Reminders
No buzz when a chore’s window opens. Tidy Tempo starts nudging near the end, gets clearer on the last day, and keeps you honest once it’s late. You can act from the notification without opening the app.

Install
Tidy Tempo is a web app, so there’s no app store. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen, like any other app, with notifications.
Reminders need iOS 16.4 or later, and only work in the home screen app.
It also works in a desktop browser, if you’d rather plan at a keyboard.
Privacy
We store what you type into your household: chores, rooms, members’ names and when things were done. You can export it all as JSON from the Household tab. Read the privacy policy

It shows as late at the top of today, and the reminders get firmer. Rolling chores count from when you finally do them. A missed set-day chore, like the bins, is recorded as missed and the next one is just next week.
iPhones only send web app notifications to apps added to the home screen, on iOS 16.4 or later. Open Tidy Tempo from the home screen icon and turn reminders on there. Nothing is sent during quiet hours, 21:00 to 07:00.
